I’ve been looking to install a security system and have all the Door/Window ZB sensors installed (not Ring) and they work great.
When I searched for Keypads the only options that pops up (Homey Mini) is using Ring, but I don’t want to start paying them a cloud or pro service fee.
Has anyone used a simple button to arm or un-arm everything? I could do 1 press arms it and double press disarms. Add a delay for the siren so I have time to use the button. Or is there a better option than using a button?
My home is simple and it’s only myself and spouse so no need for different codes to enter or leave.
I also noticed Homey has Heimdall which looks comprehensive and would probably make everything even easier. Thanks
you can alternatively use a zipato (zwave) or frient keypad (zigbee)
I’m using homey mini so no Z wave and Frient doesn’t sell to USA. But thanks for suggestions
