Ring Doorbell, Camera and Alarm support for Homey

Hi Chris,

It shows the flowcard that should get triggered when the entry delay is started can’t trigger because the device that actually caused the entry delay to start can’t be retrieved. I’ll look into it.

If you’re not using that particular flow card, there’s no functional issue for you.

When app connected to doorbell elite 2 latest version it crashes/freeze doorbell . I believe livestream on the homey ring app creates it. Once ii uninstall ring app in homey and reboot doorbell everything works again

Live stream works well in the homey ring app but door bell ring not showing or motion detection either. This app just crashes completely doorbell elite 2 latest version completely. To the point that door bell cannot record its motion events.

I used ring elite doorbell 1st veruion before and it was fine everything worked ( apart live stream i the homey ring app) but I didnt mind it only wanted for motion detection and ring alerts to work

Thanks David

Hi Danee,

I’m running Ring app 2.14.26 on Homey and I’ve found what looks like a power-mode detection issue with my Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro cameras.

The Floodlight Cam Wired Pro cameras are permanently mains powered and work perfectly in the official Ring iPhone app, including Live View. However, the Homey Ring app appears to detect them as battery-powered.

My Ring Spotlight Wired cameras are detected correctly as mains powered and work fine in Homey.

It looks like the power detection may be handling spotlightw correctly but not the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro (floodlight_pro or similar kind).

Could you please check the power-mode detection for Floodlight Cam Wired Pro in 2.14.26?

I have tried this and removed all of the devices, but unfortunately, even with the latest version, which is marked as development, I am not getting any notifications. Am I right in thinking these stopped when the ring app started offering AI interpretation of what was going on? Has anyone else got this working with latest Ring software, as my entire home network security relies on this!
