I think you had better spend your time on looking into the FAQ Please don’t use AI to post such long posts, costs me way to much time to read.

I was only asking for help with an issue in your app. I used AI to put together a quick report, but all the details are genuine and come from my own setup. If you don’t have time to look into it, that’s completely fine. Thank you anyway.

Yeah, I understand but if you had looked at the FAQ before, you had recognised this is an unfortunate situation that happens out of the blue and can be fixed by yourself as described there.

I did everything that was in the FAQ, twice. Then I removed everything RING-ralted from Homey (and did the FAQ stuff). No result. I still don’t get any events from my doorbell in Homey. I do get puch notifiations from the Android Ring app. RING is authenticated, the doorbell in setup, and I can see the live image in Homey. But no “events”.

Can you stop the app, restart it, wait a bit and do a little dance before a camera (or ring the doorbell if you don’t want funny faces from your neighbors) and send a Diagnostics Report.

Sure. Just performed the dance and created the diagnostic: 237d082f-b034-4492-9f07-44f19a1dc797 My Ring phone app did notify me of the detection.

Thanks, just looked into it. There’s a change in how a component (push-receiver) in the API works and it’s fixed in the API but that version has no version number bump and is also not available at the Node Repository so I can’t use my regular workflow of fixing this. I’ll have to look into a work around to get this done. I’ll be able to fix it, but it requires some extra work I have to figure out, stay tuned. No promises on an ETA at this time as you can hopefully understand.

Test version promoted to live version Version: 2.14.28 Support for Ring Alarm Basestation Pro added I’ve just promoted 2.14.28 that adds support for the Ring Alarm Basestation Pro which was in test since 9 otcober to live making the way free for a test version to fix the current problem. So, Important this does not fix the problem with the push-receiver!

New test version published Version: 2.14.30 Fixed Ring Alarm devices not loading on slow connections Fixed doorbell ring and camera motion events no longer working This version should fix the current problems with the push-receiver. It also includes an unrelated fix for reliable loading of Ring Alarm devices on slow connections. This last fix was already waiting to be in test as 2.14.29 but I’ve included it now, so 2.14.29 was skipped as a release.
