[REQUEST] Restrict notifications and specific devices for guest users

Hello there,

It would be great if there was an option to disable certain devices/notifications for specific users (like guest). For example I dont want ‘guest’ users like our cleaner to get notifications that we all get.

There is already a difference between Owners, Manager, User and Guest.

afaik only the Owner has the option to enable/disable notifications on timeline categories but only for the owner self.
Others can view the timeline but don’t get push notifications.

Owner Manager User Guest
Timeline Notifications Enable & Disable - - -
Categories Enable & Disable Enable & Disable View Only View Only
Delete Notifications Yes Yes - -

But same type of Feature Request:

  • For a “Technical Support” manager for a relative, Pls make an option to Disable Presence
  • For a Guest Pls make an option to Disable Presence.
  • For a Guest Pls make an option to Disable Flows.
  • For a Guest Pls make an option to Disable Devices.

I can’t beleive that it still isn’t possible with Homey to choose what devices are allowed for certain uers. Im new to Homey en am verry dissapointed in this. I should have done my homework better before I made the switch to Homey. All solutions I used before had the option to hide devices for certain users. Or protect them with a pin.
How do you guys prevent your kids of spouse from controlling certain devices?

Not necessary to limit, nothing that can really break a system.
and they understand what they can do.

Thank you for your helpfull comment.
I’m not afraid of breaking this system. But I don’t want them to control some devices or flows accidentally. Or when they shout a “Ok Google …” command but Google understands it wrong.
Also I don’t want my alarm devices accessable for every user and guest.
