Request custom picker for Advanced Virtual Devices from the Device Capabilities App

Are you sure the translations are correct?
‘Handmatig’ in Dutch or “Manuell” in German is not the same as March in Englisch.
The month “March” is “Maart” in Dutch.
And the month May is not “kunnen” in Dutch, but: “Mei”.
At least I think you mean months, don’t you?

Updated. I Was to fast in editing.

But correct that it is months.

Thanks.

In Swedish both the month and planet is named Mars. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi Robin,

Are you sure the title is “Dehumififier” ? I do not know that word (which could be my fault) but don’t you mean “dehumidifier”?
Is “Manuell” not a better word than “Handbuch” (which is the book with a manual in it)?
“Laundry”: “Wasserij” is more like a bussiness or bigger place where the can do the Laundry for you. If you mean the stuff (clothes etc) that have to be cleande, in Dutch that would be “Was” or “Wasgoed”. If you mean the room where the wachingmachine stands, in Dutch it would be “Waskamer” or (for most people) “Washok”.
I suspect that in German “Wäscherei” is similar with Dutch. In that case “Washok” (Dutch) would be “Waschanstalt” : I am not sure about this: maybe someone else knows this?

With a dehum, its a mode to dry the washed clothes. So it is not washing, its about drying the laundery.

I think that if you search that there is already a request for this mode.

Updated. Thanks. Can’t trust google translate. :stuck_out_tongue:

Please add the following list as well. Thanks a lot.

Hi Robin,

Most probably whitespace(s) in the id entry is not allowed. Better use an _ instead.

When you don’t need to translate stuff like “2h”, you can omit the related nl and de entries next time

When you do want to translate:
2h in Dutch = 2u
(hour = uur)
Hour in German is Stunde, dunno the short
@Undertaker
Hi Uwe,
If “2 hours” in English is written as 2h in short, what is it in German, 2S?

Cheers

Hi Peter,
2h is also understood in German. If you want to do it perfectly, write 2 Std.

Has been a while, just wondering if it might have been missed.

Hi,

I need a picker for my A/C:

  • Auto
  • Heat
  • Cool
  • Fan
  • Dry
  • Off

Thanks

@Kai_Atle_Rod If I read the first post then this is not enough information for @Arie_J_Godschalk to make a custom picker for your device.

Thanks. Trying again.

Hi @Arie_J_Godschalk,
I would also like to have a custom picker. However, this picker is really very specific and probably no one else will need it. I hope this is still ok.

Explanation

I use 5 opening states for our roller shutters:

  • Open: the roller shutters are fully open (which means they are 100% open)

  • Privacy protection: when it starts to get dark in the evening and we already have to switch on the light inside, I close the shutters a little so that people can’t look at our plates (which is about 40% open)

  • Sun protection: if the sun is shining strongly in summer but it is not yet really hot, I close the roller shutters so that they are closed all the way down but there is still enough light coming in through the slits (which is about 20% open)

  • Closed: this is the state when we go to bed, there are still a few slits open (which is about 10% open)

  • Heat protection: if it’s going to get really hot, I close the shutters completely so that they can keep out some heat (which means they are fully closed)
