Hi All, I have a problem with the zonnepanelen app and Enphase Envoy. The app gives me 5 watt input but it is actually 1800 watt. It worked great for a very long time, but now the values ar not wright anymore. Is there someone who can help please? Or know whats wrong.
Hi LX001, I use the same devices and app you use.
My versions are:
Pro 2023 Version 12.4.0
Zonnepanelen v5.3.2
Are your versions the same?
Next … what did you already do to try and solve the problem?
Questions about devices/apps are here
@Ruurd_van_der_Noord I’am on the same versions as you are. I have tried everything. Restart Homey, restart app, reinstall app. The app connects with the Envoy but the problem is that the app gives me 5.34 watts input and the Envoy gives me 3247 watts. Strange isn’t it?
I’m afraid you’ll have to wait for a fix / new app, Loek:
As alternative measuring tool, you can use a P1 dongle, if possible, like Homewizard P1 (€25).
It measures the real time power: solar power minus consumed power.
To solely measure the Envoy output, you can use a meter with power clamps, like Shelly EM. Shelly works locally, cloud connection is optional.
It’s a pricey one, but it works well, independent from brands and models
I’m planning to start a new thread in the Energy section of the forum, either today or tomorrow, similar to my Does my smart meter work with Homey Energy? post, but this time focused on PV inverters. The goal is to create a clear overview of what’s currently working with Homey and how.
My next focus will be to get as many PV inverter manufacturers as possible on board with official Homey apps, Enphase included.
I’ll also be attending the Smarter E Europe conference in Munich in early May, where I’ve lined up meetings with many of the major PV brands.
So stay tuned for the new thread and more updates soon!
