I’ve been working on a local Homey app for my own Fronius GEN24 setup and Smart Meter IP, providing live values for:
Solar production
Battery charge/discharge
Grid import/export
Household load
The app uses only the local Fronius inverter API (no cloud services).
Before publishing it in the Homey App Store, I’d like to share a short preview to see if there is interest from other GEN24 users and to collect some early feedback.
Excellent news, I will be moving to a new house with a Symo GEN24 12.0 SC, Fronius Smart Meter TS 65A-3, Fronius Reserva 15.80 and a Wattpilot car charger, I am really interested!

The app might work with your setup, but I don’t have any direct feedback from your specific smart meter model. My app pulls all data from the inverter API. In the case of the Fronius Smart Meter IP (Ethernet version without display), the smart meter values are exposed through the inverter’s API.
If your smart meter provides its data to the inverter in the same way, then it should work as well.
The app has been submitted to the store and is currently in the “under review” phase at Homey.
If anyone is interested in testing it in the meantime, I can share a link to the test version (hidden store page).

Only i have a second energy meter , for my old IG ,s from fronius ! The total solar power is not correct
I detected some problems with a memory leak. I’m in the final phase of uploading a new test version. As soon as it is online I will post a link.
The test version is now online again. It runs stable at 28-30 Mb of memory. I also added some features. I can send the link on request. I dont’t know if it is OK to publish the link directly in this forum.

Version 1.0.6 is now certified and in the store. It has still a bug and the grid does not correctly report to the dashboard. Version 1.0.7 fixes this error and is now in the certification process. In case of interest, I can meanwhile deliver a test link to version 1.0.7
