aaaaahhh you are using the build i timer. That will not work. you have the app which is called countdown. This ill give you the ability to start, stop and restart a timer.
you will need 3 flows.

If :
IFFT says you GF is home
then:
mark home and stop “countdown” timer -
If :
IFFT says you GF is away
Then: Start thew countdown timer on 5min -
If :
Counterdown timer reaches 0
Then: mark gf away
