Hi,
I am reconfiguring my home network to put all my IOT devices on a separate vlan from my more secure devices. Which should be fine, but unfortunantly my main switch which my phillips hue bridge is connectec to however is a dumb switch. I will buy a new one, but is a bit expensive so will take a bit of time.
So to the question. Have opened up ports 80,443,53,123,1900 from my Homey on my IOT network, to the network and IP the Hue is on. However the Homey still doesnt find the bridge. If I open up all trafic it works fine.
I Use ubiquiti fiber gateway if that should matter. i know the right solution is to update the couple of switches i need, but its a 24 port switch and i would like to update the speed as well.
