Philips Hue Homey app isnt working

The philips hue app in Homey was updated 5 hours ago. Since then, no hue lamp, sensor or button works anymore. Tried restarting the app, but get the message “app not installed” while it is installed but does not work.

Just restarted my router, but doesnt work.
Everything works in Homey except the Philips Hue app.

I have no problems.

Which homey do you have?

Which firmware version?

Homey 2023, firmware 12.4.4

Have you PTP’d your Homey?

@Philip_Montgomery i dont understand what PTP’d means :sweat_smile:

I think he means: power down your Homey (Pull The Plug) for some time and then power it up again.

@SunBeech yes i did, but not work.

You’ll have to restart all AP’s as well, as @SunBeech adviced.
The issue of disappeared apps seems ipv6 related.
When restarting your network doesn’t help, disable ipv6 on your router until Athom fixes this cr*p.

There might be a fix for the IPv6 issue in the upcoming firmware version 12.4.5:

I clicked the green button “install app” again via the homey site. Now the philips hue app works again on my Homey. Very strange, it seems that the update of the philips hue app apparently did not go well with my Homey.

The problems started exactly at the time when the app was also updated according to the latest change logs. Fortunately everything works again.

So i still have to disable ipv6?

Did you wait nearly 10 minutes before powering back up again? Although from others comments this is likely not the solution.

I installed the app again on the homey site and that was the fix. The app update didnt recieve well by my homey i think.

Also having the same problem since the lsdt update. Tried to reinstall the app but now cant get to find any Hue products :frowning:

Click again on the green button ‘‘install app’’ on the homey site with the Philips hue app. That wil fix the problem.
