Precisely. I emailed Athom support about a bug in “their” own system feature of sunset under date/time cards regarding setting negative numbers. Their response?

Has nothing to do with user specific settings.
You mean to set “after event trigger” ? If this is the case, it’s not a bug, it’s feature request (yet easy to implement), on the other side you can always use community app called “Sun Events”
I get it, there is a community app sun events. I was just highlighting an issue I found after an update within Athom’s system app but they didn’t want to address it.
Can set a negative time in standard flows, but in advanced flows, it is an invalid argument. This didn’t used to be the case a few months ago because I have been using these settings for almost a year with no issues. Was after an update that is error started. I just don’t know which one.
And since Date/time is a homey system Athom app, part of basic homey pro coding I tried to address it with them and that was the response I got. Am I wrong?
Are you sure they actually understood you?
Seems to be bug, not "user setup " . More over if that worked before. Maybe don’t give up and simply respond to them that it used to work, if they can pass it to devs or consult it with them
You’re not wrong at all, imho.
Although certain flowcards solely for use with advanced flow actually is a thing, this sunset card should function just the same on both flow systems.
But for your piece of mind, I’d say, just try to focus on the possibilities: just get Sun Events, and enjoy an app which got lots of love.
No clue why Athom is so tough and rigid when it comes to fix (recent introduced) bugs.
It can take up to years… if not rejected as “not a bug”.
They have it declare as a bug because it gives problems in other projects.
Now I use the app Zonnestanden.
