I am considering moving my domotics from Homey Pro 2019 to the new homey Pro 2023, or to Home Assistant. One of the factors is the possibility of OTA firmware updates. HA supports OTA for Zigbee, Zwave, and limited for Matter. So my question to anyone who already has the new Homey Pro : does Homey…

It would help if you mentioned the type of device. According to the firmware versions and the descriptions it looks like you are updating Ikea battery powered devices. These can require several retries.

This might help: Push the pair button on the battery powered device before starting the update, and keep pushing it about every other second (to keep it awake), until update succeeds.

There all Ikea Matter devices. Had them in Apple Home before. Updates were going smooth there. Not so much here…

I believe we need to give Athom some time. It’s the first release, they need time to learn from the real life updates and adjust what is needed. I trust Athom regarding this.

I had to try several times but upgraded 3 IKEA Myggbett sensors. Nice!

My 11 myggbett are also updated. It took several times, but in the end all succeeded…

FINALLY got ONE Myggspray updated Let’s see how she goes.

By now, all but one of the Ikea devices have been updated. Router devices work flawlessly, but I have often had to retry end devices. 9x myggbett, 5x myggspray, 8x kajplats, 1xbilresa.

Been trying to update 12 Ikea sensors for days now, 8 done, 4 to go. Think I’ve activated the update about 50 times now. Bit ridiculous…
