Since this morning, any numeric variable set to “0” show up as “43” under the variable tab in Advanced Flows in the web app on my iMAC. If I check under variables in the iPhone app, the value is “0”, as it should. This seems to be a new bug in the web app. Any advice?
If you press Ctrl+F5 on your keyboard, does that solve the issue? It would be a caching issue in that case.
Same for me, but I don’t think its any problem. The variable still reports 0 in your flows, so it looks like its just a visual setting. In my web app the number 43 is greyed out so it is visually looks like its in no input there.
Also its the same number that pops up if you enter a new number variable.
Why 43 I’m not sure. But it should be 0 just to make sure that there is no misunderstandings when you review your variables. Maybe make a support request to Homey?
“43” is the number used to indicate “error”. I agree that it is good that the calculations work. It is also good that the correct value, “0” shows in the iPhone app. But it is very difficult to verify what you are doing if a variable shows up with different values in different places. What is the actual value stored/use by Homey and what is just a display error? I do not know why this happens now, it has been ok all the time previously when I have used Homey. I have two Homeys since 4 years ago. Both have been correct before and both are showing false values now.
I can confirm the bug. I use a MacBook. The bug occurs in Safari, Chrome, and Brave browsers.
I reported the bug on Slack → Slack
Jeroen (on behalf of Athom), has mentioned @ Slack that it should be fixed in the next release.
