Why wouldn’t it be correct?
If you didn’t import energy during a surplus of generated solar energy, your house used 100% solar energy (as shown by the blue line)! it doesn’t mean: your house used up all generated solar energy.
This probably is caused by the fact your inverter doesn’t shutdown after sunset, and starts to use (a little bit of) mains power instead of generating power at daytime.
This should be filtered out by the Energy tab of course > I recommend to contact homey.app/support
(Same happens with EV chargers, their standby power usage is considered as “Charging” )
Note / tip: my Solis inverter has an option to choose for night-shutdown or to keep it permanently online (and using mains power).
The inverter is also in use by the battery, so this can’t be disabled at night (discharging of battery for covering electricity usage at night)
From time 22:51 to 23:23
solar dropped 11,3 kWh
Exported energy also dropped 11 kWh
You don’t have much control over how Homey measures or calculates these values. You also don’t really know what it uses to show or calculate these values.
Stats in Homeassistant are correct and stay correct when solar stops
