Niko Zigbee

I have these switches in my house now, installed a couple of days ago. No functionality to change the Led in the light switch like with the older model Niko switches. I hope it still comes.

No support of wireless-battery powered switch ?

Did anybody manage to pair a niko 91004 switch with homey pro. This is the switch with four buttons. Homey says to push any button 3 times, sowhere else I found instructions of holding a button 10 seconds but beither works.

I contacted the developer, the 91004 model is not supported.

I have a Niko connected zigbee switch in my home for testing purposes. No Niko hub so directly in Homey.
To update the Niko firmware , the site of Nko says it can be done manually with this json-code.

But I can’t find how to initiat that in the Homey app. I’m not familiar with how to send the json to the device.

Anyone who can help me with this matter?

Homey doesn’t support Zigbee OTA updates.

Using the manufacturer’s hub

Their site indeed mentions json for OTA updates when you’re not using their bridge. One possibility is zigbee2mqtt. Note that this would require your to run the zigbee2mqtt service on non-Homey hardware (eg your computers. It would also required a zigbee adapter that can be used as the zigbee coordinator. Cost for a compatible adapter is probably substantially lower than the cost of the Niko bridge.

That’s clear. Apparently, I was searching in the wrong places.
