Niko Zigbee switches loosing connection all the time

And again all my Niko Zigbee are flashing red : means lost network connection toi, to Homey :-1:
Again after some hours after Homey upgrade

They need really to do something on the zigbee

And the Homey appliance is nice but the close, and they should allow to add external component like stronger zigbee antenna { they can sill make money with partner with that )

Did Niko offer any resolution? I guess I have the same issue with new devices, only first button on my two devices are working.. any news from Niko?

Anyone bought a device with two buttons? Does this have the same issue?

I have several 2-button switches which only in the beginning stopped working but after some updates have been working well still to this day, it is only the 4-button that just too frequently stops working (only 1st button then still works), so I just don’t use it anymore, pretty annoying…

OkĆ© thank you! Then I might order 2 or 3 double buttons. The price difference was to little to not go for the 4 button once, but if they don’t work…

So only way to recover for the 4 button one is to reset it?

yes it sucks, because then all buttons disappear from your flows and you have to learn them again and repair all your flows, pretty annoying…

Actually I just bought a new 2 button switch, this time a 240V version (so no battery), but it worked only 2 days and then the 2nd button already refused to work, repair does nothing, so I had to reset it completely and pair again, and thus also redo all the flows, very disappointed…
I also bought a few wall sockets and one of them immediately went into continuous overload even though nothing was connected, so for quality and/or quality control it is a bit dubious also.

Edit: unfortunately I already ordered a second 2 way switch too, but they both loose connection every other day or so, after deleting, resetting, adding and repairing flows, it might work for one day, and the next nothing happens again, completely useless and definitely not worth the price as long as it keeps doing this…

I have the same issue with the two button switch unfortunately.

I found out that Niko hasn’t developed the app but Homey Apps | Drenso

You can send bugs in via homey-niko@drenso.nl

Fingers crossed

Resolved on my end! Happy with this fix!

I haven’t had anymore issues so far either

Last week I was pleasantly surprised that this was indeed fixed! @Sebastian_van_Hal thank you for your efforts by finding out who the developer was. I’ll also report the issue as fixed back to Niko with ref. CAS-2025-001327.

I was happy with the update too, but a few weeks ago started having all kind of zigbee delays, had not changed anything, contacted Athom a few times and they told me that my homeys firmware was corrupted, they send me a temporary one on which I restored a backup, but the issues were immediately the same but even way more frequently. I have tried with disabling all flows, and even all but 2 apps (hue and niko) since these were kind of the most important to me with all hue lights and niko switches/sockets in my home, but issues stayed the same.

Reverted back to my homey, same thing but like before, not that frequently as the temporary homey, mostly a few times a day.

When the delays started though, all niko sockets were always flashing red, which I thought was caused by the CPU of homey overloading, but then I thought maybe niko could also be the cause, so I decided to disable the app, and immediately all issues were gone, at least for 1,5 day I did not have any issue anymore, then re-enabled the app, and immediately same issues started again, lights not going on anymore, looked at the sockets and yes, all blinking red again.

Anyone else using the app has issues like this? I know I didn’t when it was the 1.7.0 version, but by now we are at 2.0.2 no idea what exactly changed, it could of course also be an update of homey which causes some issues with the niko app.
