New Amazon echo spot

Hi,

I recently set up 2 new Amazon echo spot (latest 2024 version). While they’re visible in the Amazon app, Homey does not see or display them. I’ve tried adding them a few times but no luck. I’m probably missing or doing something stupid. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Thanks for your reply, and apologies for lateness of my reply.

I’m not quite sure I understand your suggestion (‘Please use the app topic’), or the quoted paragraph. I’m using the only Alexa app I can find on the Homey Pro App Store.

Also is it the case that any new Alexa device must be donated to get it working?. In the case of the Spot, it costs about €100, which I cannot donate.
