Need to constantly powercycle homey

Has there been any issues recently with homey from any updates as I have mine set to auto update. I’m noticing in the last month that I need to constantly powercycle homey. I have not had a chance to review logs yet but curious if anyone else is experiencing this. I have the first version, 2019 maybe and only 2 new app installed in the last few years being tuya and moes

I also had this issue where the Homey (2019) would crash every few days. That appears to have been related to my WiFi access point, since it didn’t happen again after changing channels

There are various reasons. From first hand experience; Voltage drops due to bad power adaptor, bad wifi connectivity and the weirdest reason, placing it within 20 cm under a ceiling/cabinet.

The last thing gave me hourly crashes (probably overloaded with rebounding signals)

  • First steps; check your wifi and the location of your Homey
  • Second step; IF you have a powermonitoring plug or something similar, check for voltage levels and build a flow with an alarm and notification/logging function
  • Third step; send in your issue with Homey support team. They’ll probably check your diagnostics
