My system reports a Tuya app - but I never installed it ....?

Hi, when I use on my desktop computer insights, it looks like a Tuya app is installed on my system.
(See picture) I never installed it, I don’t have any tuya devices, so don’t need it either.
Has anybody seen this before? What could be the reasons and how can I remove it?
Ruud

I assume the values of those insights are never updated, right?

You can always remove the insights:

If the app would be installed and actively updating those values, then the Insight items would be recreated automatically.

You probably did install that app for a short while some time ago.. It does not install itself.
After uninstalling, the insights aren’t removed automatically.

No. Zero memory and cpu usage …
No no concern from load point of view.

Peter, thanks. Can’t remember, but probably you must be right.
Apparently it is not a hidden thing spying on me (and that many others also have observed).

It doesn’t disappear when I reboot homey, which is odd.

No, empty graphs.

Hi Ruud,

Insights data seems to be preserved after uninstalling apps, which can come in handy in certain scenarios.

But, it would be nice if the question “Remove app related Insights as well?” got presented during app uninstalls.

Thank you Peter. I see now why that keeping data could make sense.
