I am new to Homey and the community here, it’s a device I have been following for a number of years and finally decided to jump in.
I am an Apple Home user and up until now have used Home and the Controller for HomeKit app which has served me well until recently.
I started with a number of flows to receive notifications when my washing machine or tumble dryer finished its cycle, which was slightly tricky with them being stacked, but it works well. And I have now added my Samsung TV’s in to some flows.
I have used a number of virtual switches to pass control of flows or vice versa automations within Apple Home, and currently I’m happy with using both flows and automations in each eco system respectively.
However I’d be interested to hear thoughts on recreating as much as possible within Homey rather than the “if its not broken, don’t fix it” ethos I’m currently using?
