Modifying "Lights" --> "Multiple" options

While I was arranging my dashboards by adding the Lights → Multiple widget, I connected with the Philips Hue app and selected all 11 lights for the livingroom, or so I thought. Turned out I added one light which is situated in the bedroom and forgot 1 form the livingroom. This became clear as I wanted to create a zone for these 11 lights. Should be easy enough, just unselect the wrongly selected light an add the correct one. However I can not find any option of deleting wrong selections, adding new lightsm or even simply deleting the whole widget content and starting anew. Is there a solution to this challenge?

I don’t think I understand you correctly, you can do all that if you press edit widget💁🏻‍♂️

Hi Asterix,
It’s probably me and maybe I’m a bit ignorant, but if you could tell me where the edit function is I would appreciate it.

@Henny_Ketting You can remove lights by tapping the delete (X) button in the Widget Settings:

Thanks for the reply Bas. I am aware of the x (remove) posibilty. In this case for example I removed “Slaapkamer 1 GU10 2”, since this light doesn’t belong in Woonkamer. But now I need to add “Woonkamer zuid 1”. I can check “+ Select Lights” at the bottom and this takes me back to the “Selected” screen, and here there is Slaapkamer 1 GU10 2 unchecked, not removed, and no posibility to add “Woonkamer zuid 1”. So nothings changed, basicaly. Furthermore I there is no posibility to remove the entire widget or widget lights configuration. Even if I would like add a second widget it will be limited to the nr of lights I connected initially. So it seems like you actaully need to have ALL of your available lights included in the very first installation of the lights in this widget, or you will not be able to select them in a later step to create several zones.
So, once lights have been added to the widget, it seems you can select or UNselected any light you want from the list of added lights, but there is no possibility to remove lights from the widget list, nor is it possible to add excisting lights or new lights for that matter, and this is the case for a existing dashboard or a new dashboard. The Light → Multiple → list will be these same.

Have you tried to kill the app and restart it?

Maybe its a difference between iOS an android, but in iOS i can change everything like this…

I did. Deleted the entire dashboard and started an new dashboard. When selecting Light widget → Multiple, the inititial installed/loaded Hue light appeared, so no such luck there.

Hello Asterix. I can do that as well in Android. Problem is, there is no possibilty to add existing Hue lights or add new Hue lights, so I’m basically stuck with the lights I selected in the first run.

Thus, there must be a difference / error in the Android app, I can do everything with iOS.

Thanks for your reply Asterix. I guess I need to get some more information from alternative sources than.
