However…
…roughly a quarter to a third of all devices seem to be unknown to Mistral AI.
It knows for example the door sensor of the right patio door (Türkontakt Terrassentüre (rechts)) while that of the left door (Türkontakt Terrassentüre (links)) is unknown. Both follow the same naming convention and are of same make and model.
Only one of two (identical) door locks ist known, none of the FP2 presence sensors, … - at first glance I can´t see any schema behind it.
Will check out with ClaudeAI in the next days to see if it is a glitch in Mistral or Athom´s implemetation.
Claude AI has all sensors.
The free version of Mistral AI truncates the response of the MCP server at 32.768 characters but at least allows to use the Homey MCP server at all.
So its nice for some initial playing around but will require a payed subscription for more serious stuff as well.
I’m glad for the tool, but can’t wait for improvements.
claude has changed their desktop app the exe currently installs a windows app version that uses differnt locations for its files so it’s messy to get going.
I spent a day getting it work. my first thoughts are
claude can only see 50 of my 500 plus flows unless I give it the flow number for the flow, it sees even less devices, when it came to making changes to a advanced flow it failed to change a number in a script.
I have allowed claude full access to my homey in the claude permissions.
I have a homeyscript to fetch all my flow names and their id numbers and my devices and their ids that will have to fetch every time I need to use claude, that will be a hudge time saver.
one thing that defanately needs fixing is the access timeout, every hour or so I need to quit claude and force it to give me the homey log in page to Authurize it again.
I’v been waiting for a way to use Ai to review my flows and offer fixes. its not bad thing that it cant change flows yet, but i like that it offers first. I used to have to do screenshots and upload them to claude witch is painful because of how large advance flows get and claude will only allow so many perchat.
I’m not insteresed in using Ai to control devices, but using Ai to create flows to match my ideas will be great, if something goes a stray I can always disable it.
I cant wait for what comes next.
