Matter External Adapter

So in an effort to try and get matter to work thinking of setting it up on my Homey Self Hosted Server. So i need to external Matter Adpater.

Has anyone got any recommendations please?

I don’t have experience with it myself, but I think a Tuya Matter gateway can work here. You add the gateway to Tuya, and then you can control all devices that are connected via the Tuya Homey app:

Ikea Dirigera seems like a simple choice, although I have not tested it myself.

I was thinking the Aqara M200. Has anyone go experiance with this at all?

Dirigera can only connect IKEA devices and maybe also other lights and smart plugs from other brands (only smart plugs and lights are supported by the Homey app for it)

For the Aqara hub, you might be able to use the HomeKit Controller app, the Aqara hubs do support HomeKit as far as I know

So here is a quick update.

I already have a an Aqara smart door lock that the app does not support and had it a while. I did have the M2 hub but that does not support a matter

So purchased the m200 which does do matter.

It took me 1 hour to add the hub and 14 MYGGSPRAY sensors. Which lead to one area that is at fault and it is Homey Matter adapter/anntena. Same devices.

I also did this from the comfort of my armchair. Which is roughly 3 meters from the M200 and Homey Pro

Not great having a second but confidence I can get some more IKEA matter devices
