I searched the forum but only saw some old topics.
I am looking for a kinetic switch (1 and 2 buttons) that works with the Homey Pro. I see Wifi variants or variants that clearly state that they work for Philips Hue.
Does someone have experience with kinetic switches for Homey Pro?
BUMP - allmost same situation here, as i have 3 double bottons kenitics 433Mhz switches from Loevschall, (Montana furniture) but need a Homey app to control/integrate. Homey doesn’t record any 433Mhz signals using the switches! Loecschall have both Wi-Fi and ZigBee controllers but does not mention anything about 433Mhz - strange.
I’m looking at writing an app for Quinetic switches (from TLC in the UK: Quinetic | TLC Electrical ), based on the excellent work by Cameron Gray and others on decoding the protocol.
It looks like the Quinetic switches transmit on 433.3MHz, which I’ve confirmed with an SDR. This explains why Homey doesn’t show any signals received - the Homey receiver has a “frequency band ranging from 433.76MHz to 434.08MHz” (from 433 MHz | Homey Apps SDK ).
There is also another brand of kinetic switch from Ener-J. I don’t have any of these, so can’t check what frequency they use.
Apologies for the silence, things got busy over the Christmas break.
I’m still looking at this. From what I can see it would be possible to control the Quinetic switches from Homey (because the transmit frequency can be set low enough), but not to monitor the switches being remotely turned on/off. Somfy is similar - Homey can open and close the blinds, but can not observe the blinds being controlled using the physical remote controls.
I’ll find some time this week to see if I start putting an app together.
