Keeping track for watching tv series

We’ve recently encountered a “problem” where we’re missing episodes from TV series. It would be cool if Homey could alert us when the TV turns on to notify us about any missed episodes.

Currently, I’m using the free version of trakt.tv, but the paid version offers iCal support. However, spending €30 just for tracking TV series is a bit expensive for me.

I’m wondering if anyone has a solution for this “problem”?

Perhaps someone can create an AI app that will automagically know which particular episodes of a particular show are missing from a particular library that you’re using a particular application for (although I fear that it will cost you most than €30).

Yeah that’s true haha, thought maybe some one had a brilliant idea or made a solution for it self.
