I have a JVC NZ800 projector that I want to control (mainly on/off). I have a flow that starts when my receiver turns on. At this point I want to also turn on the projector, as the projector does not support CEC (very weird considering the price of this projector).

The NZ800 is connected to LAN through TCP/IP and the interface is well documented by JVC, so if it’s possible to send a TCP package to the projector, I can probably solve it.

Is there any way to send TCP packages to a device with Homey?

I don’t think it will work as it’s HTTP and the projector only accept hex TCP codes as I understand it :frowning: Maybe need to wait until someone hopefully builds a JVC app.

Search this forum for TCP, maybe you find something useful.

Ended up using a Broadlink unit to use infrared instead. Not ideal, but works for basic on/off.
