Hi all,
UPDATE: after setting Local API on Enabled for the Homey energy dongle Jackery doesn’t show the dongle as offline anymore. Still no data however.
My Jackery solarvault 3 pro max AC does not receive data from the homey energy dongle. I hope anyone can help.
What I did:
I bought and installed the Jackery Solarvault 3 pro max AC recently. All went well, until I tried to couple my Homey energy dongle to the solarvault so it knows my energy consumption and production. Initially I had some issues finding the dongle in the first place. After a few tries Jackery found the dongle and I was able to add it as a device to the Jackery app. However, right from the start it listed the dongle as offline and it did not receive any data from it. I am using a TP link deco mesh network, and I suspect that that causes the communication problem.
Actions I have taken:
- Deleted and added the dongle a few times.
- Ensured that both devices connect to the same deco access point.
- Ensured they both use the 2,4ghz band.
- Activated the ‘stable connection’ setting.
- Ensured the energy dongle is online and providing data through my Homey Pro.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix. Help is much appreciated!
By the way, I also asked Jackery for support, but I’m still waiting for them to wake up (9 AM PST).
