Hi, is there someone who already has connected a Indevolt powerflex 2000 to a Homey pro. I know that the powerflex has an api, maybe someone already has some experience.
Hi, I’m also considering buying an Indevolt Powerflex. I have the same question.
I’v two Powerflex 2000. I’ve created 2 virtual devices in Homey (app Virtual Devices - Arie J. Godschalk). Two virtual batterie devices with the battery properties (own svg picture of a battery / properties: on/off - measure_battery - alarm_battery - operational_state - battery_charging_state).
With an advanced flow I call the api every 5 minutes (http get call) to retrieve the status and with the app JSON Handler I parse the result and write it to the properties of the virtual devices. In this test flow there are 3 properties retrieved, but it’s easy to expand.
Not ideal but it works for now. It’s also possible to change the battery settings this way (http post call). Just add triggers from the virtual devices in the advanced flow.
Hi Rchu57, thank you for this app. in the meantime i’ve also done some work in creating my own app.
With my app it’s possible to install the Powerflex hybrid and the eco. The app refreshes every 30seconds and for now it’s only showing information so you cannot change anything in the battery.
i would like to share this app for other users to do that i’m looking at the way to post it on github, if somebody is interrested please let me know.
That looks really good already. I’d love to receive the code to test on my Homey. Thanks in advance for the great work!
I’m looking at a way to het it into Github and the homey portal, when done i can inform you about it
Hi rchu57, i could not get it into the app store aldo i’ve managed to get it on github. You can find it here: mvandenbaard/homey-indevolt
If you are able to update it and upload it into the homey store you are more then welcome then everybody can install it
Thanks a lot. With a bit of tweaking the app is now published. With a lot of thanks to Marco!!!
It’s still in test by I think everybody can download it at:
Thanks a lot for the last step, nice that you fixed it. Hopefully people will use it and are happy with the functionality.
Great app! Adding options for controling the battery would be even more fantastic!
Hi Rob,
I see the app is available through the homey store, great job.
kind regards, Marco
Yes, great news! The app was approved for public release today. I just updated the version to production (v1.0.1) and added the URL to this forum to the App Store. This change will likely be published tomorrow.
If you previously used the test release, you will need to remove the devices to access all features (import/export available in Energy tab and meters import/export today en total added)
What still needs to be done:
- Rewrite web service calls for more efficient handling within the app (priority 1)
- Request to manage the battery from Homey (request from LM)
Please indicate which options you’d like to manage through the app. The more specific you are, the easier it will be to include them on the roadmap.
I was thinking about controlling options like:
- Set working mode http://192.168.31.213:8080/rpc/Indevolt.SetData?config={“f”:16, “t”:47005,“v”:[4]}
- Set discharging state, power and SOC http://192.168.31.213:8080/rpc/Indevolt.SetData?config={“f”:16, “t”:47015,“v”:[2,700,5]}
