I have recently got Ikea Bilresa 2 button matter switch and I’m having issue with advance flow actions. I am unable to create functional flow for double press.
For example, I have its top button to control 2 bedroom lamps on nightstands, single press turns on/off mine, and double press should turn on/off my partners. However, when I create flow and add action “top on up button 1 was clicked” first lamp works as normal, however “top on up button 1 was pressed 2 times” controls both lamps (if both of them are off it turn them both on, if one of them is on then it alternate them with toggle on/off).
If i use “press” instead of “clicked” then on double press it turns on both lamps, but it automatically turns off lamp for single press. This technically works as end result is what i need (second lams on) but flash (on and off) from first lamp is annoying.
Does anybody know how can I resolve this? I like this 2 button setup, but i did not have this issue with my Aqara zigbee button.
Using a Chronograph timer:
WHEN:
Button clicked
AND
Timer is not running
THEN
Start timer for 2 seconds
ELSE
Perform second press action
Stop timer
WHEN:
Timer has finishd
THEN
Perform first press action

I was having some problems with this too. After testing quite a bit I found a solution for this, which is super simple. Let me outline first the problem:
Card: When Button 1 is pressed –> triggers every time you press the button regardless of how fast.
Card: When Button 1 is clicked –> triggers only once within a brief time regardless of number of presses.
Card: When Button 1 is pressed X times –> it triggers when you press the button either once or twice (X can only be 1 or 2).
The problem is that when you combine Button 1 is pressed or Button 1 is clicked with Button 1 is pressed X times, then both cards trigger. So if you’re toggling, then it will toggle back and gives lots of problems.
The solution, which is not super intuitive, is that if you want to you double press, then you need to use first the card “When Button 1 is used 1 time” for the trigger of the first click and then “When Button 1 is used 2 times” for the trigger of the double click. Then you can’t use the other “press” or “click” triggers, because they are also triggered.
This makes the click and double click behaviors work like a charm.

I may did this wrong, but, timer never starts for me. As soon as i press the button light turns on. For testing i even put timer for 10 seconds and action was still instantaneous. Chronograph looks like cool tool but I’m not sure how it’s supposed to be used.

I tested these Ikea BILRESA Remote Button and what i noticed is that when you do not use the Ikea app it gives you the option to select the card “Button … is pressed. But if i connect this remote with the Ikea app, i don’t have that card. Any solution for this?
I have the ikea product connected true matter with my Apple TV 4K, and i am running Self-Hosted Homey.
Also i was wondering if the Ikea products can be updated without the Gateway, does anybody know this?
No, that’s not possible. Homey doesn’t support OTA updates. You need to remove the devices from Homey, add them in the DIRIGERA, update them and then reset them again to get them back into Homey
