I want to switch of my solarPV during a period of the year and during a time slot. I am in de Homey cloud . Is a flow available for it ?
Welcome to this forum, C_Braakman. Solar PV “solar photovoltaic” is quite general.
Homey works with apps (see: apps) for various device brands.
For this reason, it is unlikely that you will be able to find a generic flow.
This is how I did it (not sure if it will work for cloud)
Homey Cloud is limited when you want to use tools like timers and such.
But with the date / time cards you can achieve stuff as well.
Which PV app do you use, and is your inverter capable to be turned off remotely?
If true:
Assuming your inverter is only online when it generates power, you can use the sunrise event as trigger, and turn the inverter on (or off outside season), after x minutes (to make sure it’s generating power):
Timeslot, to turn it off for the next x hours:
Turn it back on after x hours, but not when outside season:
Thanks,I believe that I need the Homey pro instead of the Homey Cloud. Correct ?
YW.
I don’t understand. Only if your inverter can’t be turned on/off by Homey Cloud.
