So i bought Homey thinking it was an easier User friendly Solution. But when it comes to trying to get devices attached is just does not fit that description.
I have been trying to pair some Myygspray Sesors. Managed to do 4 sensors in 3 days… Even with the devices actually next or sat on top of the Homey Pro 2023 they do not connect. Surely it cannot be this hard to a simply sensor…
What am i missing? Please somone point me in the right dorection. I have read the community threads (no pun intended) but failing at each attempt…
I heard the Ikea devices were problematic… But this is crazy…

I could be corrected on this but im sure there have been ongoing issues with Ikea devices, certainly the newer ones. I dont know if this is over all platforms or just on homey.
Have you got the ikea app? have you got an Ikea hub Ive got all mine connected to an Ikea hub and then bridged over. They still drop off quote frequently unfortunately but its a quick refresh of the ikea hub and they are back.
Hopefully someone here has a better clue but im sure ive seen others have issues with these sensors.

Maybe not identical issue but my solution might still be valid:
In short:
I took my old phone, did a full factory reset, and only installed & configured Homey app.
By keeping all really close together (<50cm) the connection was possible via Homey.
It took a couple of tries but all the sudden it worked just fine and I was able to install & config MYGGSPRAY and GRILLPLATS!
