I had to go 3 days back in the backup history to get a backup that was OK and install all my devices. I lost some history but now all devices are in place.
Repair the ZigBee devices went smooth (around 50 devices). No problem with Z-Wave devices.

Plan for updating from 2019 to 2023.
Clean up apps and flows to what I need.
Backup 2019, take 2019 offline.
Set up 2023 as new and update to latest firmware.
Reset 2023 and do a restore.
Does the update before restore seem like a good idea?

Everything except zigbee went ok.
Had to repair all zigbee units, difficult level 1-3 depending on device.
Well, most stuff and rules survived, that’s where to most work have been done.
