“something” … anyway, you didn’t answer my question (dev console), so no idea what is going on unfortunately. Please contact Athom. Normally there is failsafe mechanism for any troubles during firmware update.
I see! I used a pin that is 10mm long, and i did felt the button being depressed when I inserted the pin. That was how i was able to activate DFU mode as well.
I’ve already submitted the ticket for assistance through your shared link 5 days ago. I was referring to their slow response on this.
I’ve already plough through all the available resources online (by Athom or Community) and tried all available “solutions” for past days… Seems likely the recent firmware update 5 days ago crashed my set.
And it seems like the support team is pretty slow as compared to other hubs I’ve tried.
Is there anyone with similar experience for Homey Pro Early 2023 but managed to resolve it?
I migrated from Homey 2016 to 2023, but the repair for the Zigbee devices do not work.
Is there someone that got the repair of a Zigbee device working?
After the migration I checked all the apps, and they were working okay (mill and solar not available yet) waited then about 30 minutes and restarted my Homey. After up and running again, I waited for another 30 minutes. Then tried the
repair from the Web and also from the app. I also tried it again, after removing the bulb and putting it back after a few seconds. My bulbs are mainly from IKEA.
Ikea bulbs can be a bit of a hassle.
The instruction tells you to turn it off and on only once but that didn’t work for me, so use the second instruction:
Make sure the light is on. Then turn it off and on 6 times by pulling and inserting the power plug.
The light should blink after; does it do so?
Use this when repairing the device by opening the devices settings and choose maintenance.
That way your flows will be repaired too.
Not sure, but wasn’t it an option you can just right-click on a zigbee tile and select ‘repair’, instead of physically pair the device / put the device in pair mode?
So when you switch it off and on 6 times (so six times off and 6 times on, start with switching OFF), the lightbulb does not blink after? Then the problem lies in the bulb, not in Homey.
You can select “repair”, but do have to set the device in pair mode at that time, @Peter_Kawa.
