How to switch off/on a plug at certain times based on wind direction

Hello,

My neighbor makes a wood fire every day in the winter, and I can smell the smoke in my house through the ventilation when the wind blows from west to east. My goal is to switch off my ventilation system (using a connected plug) from 7 pm to 9 pm if the wind direction is from west to east (or, more specifically, between 70 and 110 degrees). Note: I don’t own a weather station, so I’ll need to rely on public data.

How would you achieve that if that’s even possible?

Many thanks!

Gregory

This app gives you some information on wind : Weather by Open-Meteo App for Homey | Homey

I’m using a Netatmo hardware which provides the direction of the wind. All works well with Homey…

This should do it. I used Openweather app, but any preferred weather app should have similar triggercards and wind direction variables
