Is there a way to set moods to an entire room? When I create a mood, and let’s say I add three lights to the room. It gets quite annoying to take that single light and add it to eight different moods in the room. When I add the light to the mood, it doesn’t even automatically put in the suggested color. I have to manually do it.
I’m curious if there is a way to make it so when you click the mood or flow. It would randomize all of the lights to be four or five colors. So it doesn’t matter what light I add or remove from the room. As my wife has constantly moving around lamps. It gets very frustrating LOL
Hope this makes sense. Thanks for any help
Have you tried creating a light group, se them to their desired colour and then save that as a mood
Doesn’t that just set everything to one single color for all the lights?
Ahh sorry miss read your post, need more coffee
I see what your asking now
A bit like scenes in Hue or Govee but repliacted in Homey. I cant think of a way sorry.
Good suggestion tho. I quite like some of the preset scenes in Gove, would be nice to be able to do this on a dashboard
There might be a way in a script to write what you want. I found this post about HA which might give you some idea that you can translate over to homey
I used chat gpt to find the api for and write script to get an electric fire working in homey. Took some time but it worked. Always worth a shot.
Sorry i cant be more help. Ill RTFQ next time
