Just in case anybody is still hitting a wall with this after more than 3 years:
I discovered by coincidence that my Rodret dimmer remote establishes a direct association with the bulb if kept close to the bulb during the regular inclusion in Homey Pro.
I was able to reproduce this with a brand new set of bulb and remote – so no chance the association was residual from former inclusions in the Dirigera hub.
Products used
- Rodret dimmer
- Tradfri tunable white 1055 lm
Procedure
- Include bulb in Homey Pro
- Leave bulb on after inclusion
- Include remote in Homey Pro and keep it close to bulb for the entire process
I will test this with more controllers and sensors in the Ikea range – also legacy ones – and report back here …
