Perhaps there are no updates yet, but can we expect a changelog for SHS (for all platforms) as well, @Doekse, @Emile?

Yep, that’s planned!
Synology guys, anyone found a way to give ipv6 to a shs and connect Boarder Router to SHS? I have Google TBR on Google streamer 4K but don’t know how to check if they have connectivity.
Can you share your planning?
The SHS is working like a charm on my unraid box !
Migrated all my devices, variables, flows….
And seems rock stable !
Will leave it running for a few more days and then migrate over !
@Marc_Jurriens Wow, you are fast. I wonder how you did that.
I have just installed SHS on Synology and it looks excellent. And no memory limitation ![]()
But rebuilding 225 flows / 2000+ variables is hard work with 50+ z-wave devices.
It is almost impossible to partially migrate since any device or (advanced) virtual device could be in use in flows that also refer to z-wave devices.
I guess Athom will not have a migration from HP2023 before the first month free elapses.
Woke up at 06:15 and started typing ![]()
I have 106 devices
3
Homeyscripts
95
Flows (3 advanced, the rest standard).
Took half a day and it was a good thing, gave me a chance to tidy up some stuff.
I hope Athom will give me the opportunity to pay for backups again.. especially since with shs it should be extremely easy to bring up that backup on my secundair server should the first one break…
It’s done ! Homey Pro is off, all devices, flows, scripts and dashboards are now running on SHS on my Unraid box.
On the Second Day of Christmas (Home Automation Edition) ![]()
On the second day of Christmas, my smart home said to me:
Two Docker stacks humming,
And a Homey Pro… gracefully set free.
The plastic box went silent, its duty done at last,
No more little blinking light, no single point of past.
For now the flows run deeper, in containers neatly spun,
On Unraid’s steady backbone — resilient, clean, and fun.
The scripts still fire on motion, the logic didn’t stray,
It just grew up, moved house, and found a better way.
Less hardware on a shelf, more control behind the scenes,
Snapshots, backups, uptime — you know exactly what that means.
So raise a glass to progress, to systems lean and true:
Not less Homey in the house —
Just Homey, level two. ![]()
Merry Christmas to all !
Great, thanks @Emile.
I see it is live now.
Is it maintained/updated as well? ![]()

I see v12.10.1 is out, but the changelog only mentions v12.10.0…
Heb je het al gevonden?
How do I update the homey environment on a synology?
With the cloud link My Homey I get no update button:
With the local link I get an update button and an error:
With the smartphone app I get a button which leads to the general support site.
See the link in the first post of this topic:
https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/23975209649308-How-to-install-Homey-Self-Hosted-Server-on-Synology
So, via Container Manager or any other way you use to update containers (Portainer, Watchtower, etc…)
Thanks Henk, I overlooked that, works like charm.
Since I am considering shifting from HP23 to SHS/Synology, I’ve bought a SLZB-MRW10U + ZWA-2 POE dongles and, being a noob with MQTT and the dongles, it took me a few days dabbling with the configs and inconsistencies to have the beginning of a working solution for me.
Direct (via MQTT hub) Z-Wave integration into Homey did not work in this setup nor my complete failure in setting a HP23MqttBridge app…
The only reliable solution that worked for me :
Z-Wave dongle → Z-Wave JS UI → Mosquitto → HA → SHS (HA device)
With this setup, Z-Wave devices are correctly detected, updated, and fully usable in SHS flows after being added as HA devices.
Working setup for zigbee:
Zigbee dongle → Zigbee2MQTT → Mosquitto → SHS (Zigbee2MQTT device)
Zigbee devices, including buttons unknown to Homey, work correctly ![]()
Non-viable solution (for buttons): I tried the HA go-between using Zigbee2Mqtt’s dongle and, though the devices are added in HA, the buttons are not exposed with their capabilities.
added : Matter bridge works fine but you loose lots of capabilities and all the devices have the same icon which makes the whole setup unreadable.
Unresolved Matter (pun intended) : since I have a few Matter over Thread devices, I was hoping to use the dongle’s BRT and turn HP23 off, but SLZB’s Zigbee Controler and BRT are mutually exclusive ![]()
Before I jump into deleting my 200 devices from HP23, adding them to finally get them into SHS and painfully importing the flows and hoping Arie’s tools will fix them, I am hoping there is a more elegant solution for migrating from HP23 to SHS.
I think you wrote it did not work for you, but just to be sure: did you try the homey bridge ? That does zwave and zigbee..
You probably have a good reason for also having home assistant, but zwave can only be linked to one of the two which is why you are using mosquito I guess…
Quite a complex setup, is there no future in choosing either homey or home assistant and getting rid of the double complexity ?
Matter bridge works fine but you loose lots of capabilities and all the devices have the same icon which makes the whole setup unreadable. It doesn’t solve the Matter over Threadthough. I will add it to my post
How are you finding the homey bridge+ SHS compared to your pro23 ?
I’ve a pro 23 and also running a SHS with proxmox and runs really well its just the problem with getting zigbee/wave devices over. How are you finding the bridge with it sending the data over wifi? If it had erhernet then I’d definalty get one and switch the SHS.
I also have the option of modding my current pro with compute module as it works perfectly fine for me just apps keep crashing due to the lack of ram.
It works great.. exactly the same experience as with the pro. And no issues with memory and storage.
Zigbee/zwave need repairing but I basically spent a day spread over a couple of days and migrated everything over..
I do not notice any difference with respect to response and/or availability.
Did you re-create each of your flows individually?
Thanks
I installed Homey SHS on my dad’s Synology NAS over Christmas.
However, I wasn’t able to install the Sonoff Dongle Max, due to limitations with Synology and the unit defaulting to a USB dongle. I couldn’t override this no matter what I tried.
Anyone manage to do it?
