Homey Self-Hosted Server on Proxmox | Megathread

Yeah that’s also part of my “alternative” install script, disable auto-updates

I am running 13.3.0. Since updating, my flows involving multiple lights run slowly. Before the update, a group of lights would cut on instantly. Now they come on slowly one after the other with about a 1 to 5 second delay.

Any ideas?

Perhaps the “Known Limitations” section could mention that some users may experience app-specific issues when running Homey SHS inside an unprivileged Proxmox LXC. I had an app that repeatedly crashed, and restoring the same installation to a privileged LXC resolved the issue. More testing is needed to determine whether the root cause is permissions, container isolation, or simply the restore/update process itself, but it may be helpful as a troubleshooting note.

This is the specific error message:
Could not mount /dev/random : 32

BUG:

I noticed an issue with SHS with adding devices. I have the problem with the Hue official app.

When I do: + → new device → Philips Hue → select for example “light” → connect → result a spinning wheel → and it keeps spinning..

When it’s an app only issue, you’d best contact Athom support instead: Support | Homey
(as mentioned on the app page @ homey.app store)

Already figured it out. It’s Safari causing the issue. With Chrome it works okay. So no bug but some issue with Safari..
