I have a Homey Pro, is it possible to add a Homey Mini (in the same house) to increase the total RAM of the system (maybe switching some apps and devices from the Homey pro to the Mini) and to use the same webapp with e.g. a flow with devices from both homey pro and mini? I found different (negative…

I don’t know if that’s possible with the Homey Mini. I have a Homey early 23 and a Homey early 19. Early 19 has several apps installed to relieve early 23 and sends these devices to early 23 using the HomeyLink app. [Screenshot_20251204-164110_Homey]

The Mini has only 1GB of RAM. So its half of the Pro. Keep in mind it lacks most technologies so maybe move your zigbee aps and matter apps to the mini?

Or do that, it works perfectly and you’ll immediately have enough RAM, forever. [image] [HowTo][Modding] Homey Pro (Early 2023) - Resize user Partition on eMMC Questions & Help This topic describes how I resized my user partition in my Modded Homey Pro …

Yes, maybe I can do that, or move things like “plex media server”, “weather forecast”, “cast text to google” and other apps that aren’t really linked to zigbee or matter or whatever device… I have about 35 apps, 50 flows, about 200 “devices” (and some scripts) and 200 Mb Ram free on my homey pro, b…

The Homey Mini is also a Homey Pro, so it should work [image]

Have you tried this? I am too thinking the same thing. Shift over apps that dont use Zigbee/Zwave and dont really affect the whole of my home Automation. Id love the 2026 home pro. Ive had mine exactly 12 months and its full already so need the extra space. Shame they dont offer an upgrade program…

I agree with you, I don’t want to pay other 399€ for another Homey Pro… maybe 150€ and I give back mine in excange. Otherwise for more than 150€ I may try to do the raspberry upgrade as indicated above. And, by the way… 4 gb of RAM? what an upgrade is this? maybe with 8 GB would be reasonable…

Id love to do the upgrade of the cm4 but knowing my luck it would fry after a month. Just wish it was easier to move the partitions and not have to jailbreak it. I guess the jailbreak is final or if needs can the old cm4 be put back in and restored. Tempted to try the pro mini and homey link to s…
