Homey Pro and Tuya Zigbee

Next to Dirk his hints and tips,

Somfy / Tahoma uses zigbee (mainly) for their own products as it seems.
Until today I never heard of Tahoma as zigbee controller.

While zigbee seems to be a standard, it isn’t for 100%.
This is why certain devices won’t work, or won’t work reliable, with certain controllers, and even have difficulties interacting with certain foreign brand’s devices. They all need eachother for the zigbee network they’re part of.

Tuya and Aqara are known to deviate from the standard specs, hoping to lock you in.
I don’t recommend Tuya (whitelabel) with Homey.

Before purchasing stuff, it"s a good idea to post your wish-list on here, to see if anyone encountered problems with it.

Also there’s this “best buy guide”, but it’s not 100% reliable, if these items really work flawless with Homey.

There is a Tahoma/Connexoon app topic, for you to see what Homey supports.

No one knows, and Athom won’t tell.
