You haven’t provided a link to the spotlights, provided no exact name or product ID. So how should it be possible to answer your question if you don’t provide any information? 
Have you checked the linked topic to see if the spotlights are listed?
In addition, I can only repeat myself. Athom says that Zigbee lights work without a special app. If you don’t trust them, then contact and ask them if the Tuya Zigbee spotlights will work.
