Homey Pro 2026

Hi Adrian,

Didn’t look at HomeyLink as I didn’t know that it excisted.

But as I read it, it appears to work as a Homey bridge.

Does it works with all Homeys including the Homey pro early 201x?

Yes, all Homey Pro’s. It’s not a true bridge as each Homey is setup independently and then all the devices from one are shared with the other.

Ok clear, so my last question(s)

As it basically are 2 independent setups but with shared devices, can you use flows that uses devices from the other Homey?

(My Homey pro Early 2023 has some issues with flows so I can’t test it right now)

What I would like to do.

Use my old Homey Pro (early 201x) install a Fibaro smoke detector (which is now just out of reach of my other homey pro) and create a flow on my primary homey that triggers a alarm when smoke is detected and then running a alarm flow opening all screens, duettes, etc. So that in case of a fire there are no obstacles to get out of the house.

This is from the app description:

Important: While you can control all shared devices from your primary Homey Pro, advanced features are limited. Device-specific Flow cards and certain functionality will only be available on the Homey Pro where the devices are physically connected.

It can start flows on the remote Homey, so yes.

When you “import” a device from the remote Homey, it can trigger flows on the local Homey, or it can start device actions on the remote Homey.

When you install HomeyLink on both Homeys, you have the same functionality on both.

Ok thanks.

Have to wait till the problem with flows is fixed, the app crashes when opening the flow tab…. then I can test it.
