Homey Keeps restarting

Do you already have a response from Athom support?

No

I have same problem.
Homey Pro offline a lot, restart reaon shows restart ota

UPDATE: without internet connection Homey starts without any problem. I was able to send Athom a diagnostic report: they say there’s an app that fills up the memory at boot but they don’t know which app is… I disabled all apps and the problem persists, only with a boot without internet connection Homey boots and stay active. After the boot I connect LAN cable and Homey goes online, now has been almost 2 day with Homey up and running, everything works but if I restart with internet connection active (I mean with the LAN cable connected) I have the same problemi with homey restarting over and over… I sent another diagnostic report to Athom, I’m looking forward to see the reply!

I hade issues with the Philips Tv App, it used 8GB memory (I have changed my Pi to one with more memory). Deleted the app and had no issues after that.

I had the same problem. The router was band steering to 5GHZ. Ensure your 5GHz network is not active; then, connect to the 2.5GHz network. I installed a plug-in extender that only has 2.5 and connected it to that.

Contact support, they wil help you with your adapter

The adapter works fine, I’ve tg e same problem with WiFi…

UPDATE 2: Athom is investigating the problem… it seems that the Matter Manager has some problems in the boot process.

I have the same problem now already for 8 weeks, and I did not care to search for a solution because I thougt it will be solved after a proper nw update.

Hi Alberto, I have the same issue now. Did Athom resolve the issue?

NO! They sent me another Ethernet Adapter but it doesn’t work. Now they told me to sent my homey to Atom for further analysis… Sending my homey to them means staying a couple of week without my smart home: I’m thinking about it!

Do what I did when the same happened to me: switch over to Home Assistant.

I thought about it but I have Homey in my parent’s house and I need to control it via internet. Remote access in Home Assistant is a paid service, right? And every light has a Vimar switch which is not supported in HA so Homey is still the best choice for me.

There are many free options for remotely accessing Home Assistant, and I can find various references to people using Vimar with Home Assistant.

I am switching to home assistant….. I have just bought it online.
