Homey integration for Home Assistant - Now Available! 🎉

It seems that this device you have pasted only support battery/charge information. It this the Lawnmower?

No, it’s not a lawnmower. It’s a battery storage device.

Ah, ok. So this has nothing to do with the vacuum and lawnmower that you previously said you had issues with. This is a new device that is not working for you?

Could you also give me the JSON export for the Lawnmower if you had issues with that as well?

The previous post mentioned more appliances: heat pump, lawnmower, etc.

I noticed that now, you pasted all of them in the same code section. I was looking at your original post.

I for one appreciate this project, so thank you from me.

New major release!

(And yes… I did manage to make a bad merge into main after everything behaved beautifully in beta and dev. So if you happened to grab v1.1.5 during the legendary “5-minute oops window”… just re-download via HACS. :upside_down_face:)

If this release behaves and no big bugs show up, I’m going to take a small break from pushing updates. I know it’s been a lot of releases and testing lately - but honestly, this was me desperately fixing my own smart home chaos. I needed this.

Either way…

Test it, play with it and give feedback! If you encounter ANY bugs, please try to create issues on Github. Some things we can solve here, but it’s easier for me to keep track of issues there.

I’ll get started this week on replacing my dashboards with your app’s entities and switching off the MQTT hub.

Get an error with the SHS hostname….

The support for Self Hosted Server is… “in some development” and I would say it’s an improvement/enhancement issue for now. But if you want to try the BETA build then please try it. SSL should be improved IF that is the issue.

→ HACS → Home integration → Redownload
→ Releases → Select “beta” → Download
→ Restart Home Assistant

But, could you - or anyone who’s trying to connect to SHS - please provide me with logs about what kind of error you get. And also the IP/Adress you are trying to connect to. Is it the IP, localhost, HTTPS, HTTP etc.

→ Settings → System → Logs
→ Click the three dots to “Show raw logs”

Please provide as much information you can, otherwise I will have a very hard time trying to troubleshoot just “an error”. A GitHub issue would be appreciated if you can.

Thank you!

Will do ASAP!

Hi Mike,

Is it a plan to extend the readme with info for the older Homey models (no local API)?
Something like:
" Not available for Homey (Pro) early 2016-2019 series → these models can use the universal MQTT way to integrate Homey with Home Assistant.
Howto: [TUTORIAL][PRO] How to integrate Home Assistant with Homey Pro and v.v "

Hi Peter!

That sounds like a good idea! I’ll do that!

Will there be also v.v. available. The current way doesn’t work for me. The devices are shown in Homey Pro 2023 but I cannot use them. Thats the only reason for me to use Home Assistant. In particular. I can not get the Sonoff button snzb-01p working in Homey. It works great in HA. Therefor my question: will a vice versa functionality be available in this Homey integration. So that I can use the sonoff snzb-01p in the Homey app?

The SNZB-01P should be supported, did you use this app?

@smarthomesven, Thanks, I’m gone try this. :crossed_fingers:

Hi Mike,

I’ve now imported almost 350 devices. It’s worked so far. There seems to be a problem with the roller shutters. Here, “select” is set as the ID instead of “cover”. Therefore, the roller shutters can’t be controlled. The temperature control is also missing for the imported lights.

Hi, thanks for the great work!

I installed via the “add custom repository’ (could not find it in HACS yet). Initial install works. but shortly after I get cannot_fetch_devices

Version 1.1.5 is installed

– Edit –

Changed from DNS name to IP number, will monitor

off topic
@aitpeter I have two Sonoff SNZB-01P Zigbee devices running on Homey early 26. They were easily added via the Sonoff app. :man_shrugging::thinking:

Could you try changing to the BETA version [1.1.5-beta.2] and see if that solves it?

HACS → Homey integration → Redownload → Select BETA → Restart HA.

Then check if it works, and check the logs for any errors.
