Homey Flows not working with manual triggers

Hi,

Last year I had my Homey Pro installed and I got some dimmers activated. Over the past days I’ve seen that some of my flows are not being activated by “manual triggers”, meaning for example, if I set for some lights to turn on/off when 1 specific light is on/off, the flow doesn’t go through anymore.

However, if I do it through the homey App it does go on.

I tried to re-do the flows, but still the same issues. Does anybody know what can that be, and how can I activate it?

Can you share an example of a flow that’s not working? Has anything else in your setup changed over the past days?

Hi Jonathan, example, I set a flow so that when I turn on the main light in my office, the rest of my devices turn on (A light strip, a couple of lamps, etc.)

If I do this via the Homey app, it works perfect. But if I turn the light manually (using the wall switch), it doesn’t happen. This was working perfectly, but not anymore, so unsure why

I think you need to work through some experiments to understand exactly which bit isn’t working. So if you run the flow by triggering it directly in the Homey app in the flows section then that suggests the trigger event for that flow isn’t being detected for some reason. Test that by maybe adding a flow with the same trigger event that just sends you Push message. Does that work? If not then that would pretty much confirm it.

Then share more details of the device controlling the main light since that’s presumably what isn’t working.

Is it only that one device it’s happening to? If not then is there something in common between at the devices referenced by triggers of the flows that aren’t working?
