Exporting the apk is quite simple @ Android:

You can create an .apk file from an installed Homey app;

On your phone (or tablet) with a functional Homey app:

1. Install FileManager +
2. Tap “Apps”
3. Scroll to “Homey”
4. Longpress the Homey icon
5. Tap “Backup”

The update is probably not being rolled out to everyone at the same time,

That’s right, but I can’t imagine it’s balanced over 7 days or more. I’d say 48h max., but that’s just a guessumption.
