I have installed the latest android app 9.1.0 (auto updated) on my Samsung S20 Ultra with Android 13. Many buttons don’t respond, so it is almost not usable anymore. I tried to clear cache, but no effect. Than removed it and reinstalled, but same issue.
I reverted now back to old apk version 8.2.2, which is more slow, but working fine as before.
What Build was it? afaik 9.1.0 is Beta and releases ~4 or 5 build’s a week.
Actually I don’t know for sure. It was auto updated on my phone via the official playstore. So assume no beta release?
As I removed it I cannot see anymore. It was already going on for a month or so.
V9.0.5 is the current stable
V9.1.0 is a beta channel
Ok, as the playstore will update to this beta release. Do you know where I can find the apk.'s for the older releases like 9.0.5?
I installed 9.0.4 but same problem. Now I installed 9.0.0,that seems to be OK. So somewhere after that problem has arisen.
Samsung S21+ & app v9.1.0.1680 works pretty well
I think that is because the s21 runs on a newer android version. My last update was for android 13 on my s20 ultra.
It’s on Android 14 & One UI 6.1
My S9+ is on Android 10 & One UI 2.5, it runs the same Homey app version.
Of course it’s slower and more sluggish, but it’s not like it’s from different galaxies…
I’ve tried v9.0.0 as well, but it’s not way quicker. A bit, yes, but not something I would downgrade for.
On both phones, I’ve enabled Developer Options, and disabled all animations. Maybe this helps for you.
(Unfortunately Homey app has way too many animations, which ignore my animations preferences).

With the options you advised, it is the same problem. It seems to be a specific bug introduced after version 9.0.1 with at least android v13 (Samsung S20 ultra). A lot of buttons don’
t react when pushing it. I send them an email to the mentioned support email (mentioned in google play), but nog reaction after one week, so I don’t know if they read it.
Any idea where to report specific android homey app issues at Atom?
