Hi,
I set up a few alarms in Homey. Only if I create flows to handle the set off/start of these alarms I can get notifications etc. Is it not possible to get a alarm bell and/or alarm notification without any flows?
Thanks!

In the Homey Pro 2023 no. There is no speaker in the Homey.
The previous had.
Sorry, I forgot to mention, this is Homey Pro 2019 (with speaker). I do not get sound or a notification, so I’m guessing that the alarm MUST lead to Flow that does the things I want?
It only sounds the alarm if there is no flow.
If there is a flow that triggers it is silent. (Even if the flow has a condition that stops the flow it is silent)
But the weird thing is that before I created the flow it did nothing at the alarm time. No sound, no alert…
Maybe the volume was set very low?

Everything else has a pretty good sound volume so I assume it is not set to 0% as default. And by creating that volume setting flow I will in effect have a flow so I cannot test how to get a sound and a notification without a flow.
Above example does not trigger on the alarm so dos nog interference…
Just the question setting an alarm and you have no flows triggering on the alarm, and the volume is hearable… last option was time set correctly ?
FYI The default volume is set here:
Mobile app: …More > Settings > Audio
When it’s set to 100% you should hear an alarm sound
Just tested, the alarm sounds very loud and long.
Thanks Everyone for helping!
Time and volume were indeed correct. I got it (the alarm) working right now, I had a flow that was checking a specific alarm. So I thought I could have another alarm with another name that would work with sound/notification. It turned out that I could not have ANY flows checking ANY other alarms, then all alarm notifications would fail. Weird… Well, I was mostly interested in how the alarm would sound and notify me, so in real life I would use flows for all alarms.
Thanks!
Guess this is it…
