Homematic IP thermostat heads Evo connected to Home Assistant/Raspberry Pi

I have my Homematic IP thermostat heads Evo connected to Home Assistant/Raspberry Pi and they work perfectly there. However, when I connect them to Homey, I only get the room temperature reading and can’t control the temperature, so I can’t integrate the thermostat heads into a flow. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution?

You most probably use the “official” app?

I can recommend the Home Assistant community app for 100%. I’m using it since the early test releases.

In case you miss an entity, you can add it afterwards! Even entities from other devices!
Example:

Two counter-questions:

  1. Why did you format the text as “Perfomatted text”?
  2. How and/or with which app did you connect your thermostats to Homey?
    – With the Homey Home Assistant App?
    – With the Homey Home Assistant Community App?
    – Via MQTT?
    – In a completely different way?

Hello Dirk,

  1. sorry I didn`t know that used this format
  2. I tried both
    1. with the Home Assitant App I can´7 control the temperatur, I just get the room temperatur an no status for the battery
    2. with th Home Assitant Community app I can`t find the Homematic IP Evo thermostat.

Maybe you have an idee.

A thermostat in HA is using the climate domain (al least it should).

Can you please check in HA, which entities are used for the HA device? If there is a climate.xxx, then add a climate device usong the HA community app and search for this entity.
