HomeKitty/Google integration vs Matter Bridge vs Multi-Admin

Given we now have at least three ways to add devices to several ecosystems:

  1. Google integration and HomeKitty are one way, and can cover almost anything.
  2. Matter bridge are also one way and only for matter devices?
  3. Multi admin are for matter only devices, and work some of the time?

Any insights to how others approach these options or tips when to use what?

Is matter bridge only for matter devices or can you add Homey as a bridge to another matter bridge and then select all of the devices that you want?

Edit: just checked. You can add all devices, including for example fake switches, as long as the device type is supported. I would guess that this is the “cleanest” way to add devices because it is an official app released by Athom?wAt the same time HomeKitty has always been super reliable and stable for me so I will think twice before switching. Especially that I am not sure if all devices I have in the Home App are supported by the matter bridge.

Wouldn’t there be a stability premium in the latter two options? If HP is down, the other matter platforms can still access the devices (thread sensors in my case).

Currently I’m also on HKitty (super reliable and flexible) which I’ve just noticed has made my home dependent on HP. eg if it is down, the thread network is down.

Ofcourse if HP is down then my automations are down, then accessing the sensors on the thread network is useless unless I duplicate/mimic my automations across all platforms.
